Support Solutions Personnel are looking to recruit a number of experienced Children’s Residential Support Workers to work with young people aged 8-18.

Our client is a vibrant and well-established company working across the children’s care sector in Darlington and throughout the North East. They have consistently been rated as ‘good’ by OFSTED.

They currently have exciting opportunities for child-focussed and professionally motivated Residential Child Support Workers to join their very experienced team at their children’s home in Darlington.

As a residential support worker no two days are ever the same. You will become a role model to our young adults, supporting them to achieve their goals, encouraging them to reach their full potentials and make positive choices.

It is vital that applicants have experience working within a similar role and have a Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or working towards one.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and have a clear understanding of safeguarding. Transferable skills from other types of supportive setting may also be beneficial to an application.

Salary ranges offered are based on experience and assume that all contractual sleepovers are undertaken. Sleepover duties are paid at £68.75 per sleepover. Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates.

You must be able to undergo full enhanced DBS check or already have one on the update service.

Full driving license is ESSENTIAL for the role.

Salary: £21,000.00-£22,500.00 per year
